Conveyancing Legal Assistant

We currently have a vacancy for an experienced Legal Assistant.

The prime role of the residential conveyancing legal assistant involves supporting the conveyancers with a caseload of files for clients. You will report to the conveyancer and work alongside other members of the residential conveyancing team.

Experience in Residential Conveyancing would be an advantage but this is not essential.

Job training will be given to the candidate to enable them to assist with the progression of a caseload of files if they wish to progress.

Conveyancing Lawyer

The main purpose of the residential lawyer will be to conduct a caseload of files for clients providing legal advice, while establishing and maintaining effective and professional relationships. Deploying the full range of legal skills. To work alongside colleagues in the department, assisting on sales and directly handling and progressing residential conveyancing matters and transactions, applying legal knowledge to produce solutions which meet clients’ needs and addresses their personal circumstances. Most importantly, to further grow your own skills and experience in the field of residential conveyancing.

You will be a team player, willing to work under supervision where required, and happy to work on files alone in the areas you are experienced. An excellent communicator both written and oral, capable of building a good rapport with clients and colleagues. Chartahouse prides itself on delivering high-quality service to its clients.
